This line is answered by the Cancer Information Specialists of Roswell Park Cancer Institute who respond to questions regarding diagnosis, treatment and continued care for ovarian cancer patients, friends and families. In addition, the Registry has a HELP-LINE, a telephone support service for women at high risk of ovarian cancer. By calling 1-800-OVARIAN and asking for a HELP-LINE volunteer to make a return call, women will be in contact with concerned volunteers who have made the decisions they are now facing. This enables women to have a one-to-one telephone conversation with other high-risk women or ovarian cancer survivors.
