State Reimbursement to Counties Under New York State Public Health Law Article 6, Section 611,
for West Nile Virus Mosquito and Bird/Mammal Activities

Tier III Surveillance; larval control; adult mosquito ground control All of above (new plan specifically addressing the extent of control activities, request declaration of public health emergency in the county, which automatically generates an emergency declaration in adjacent counties) Up to 50% per Section 611.3 and associated Part 44 regulations for counties with a declaration of PH emergency; same in adjacent counties which are also subject of PH emergency declaration.
Tier IV Surveillance; larval control; adult mosquito control, possible aerial spraying Same as Tier III Same as Tier III

Note Human surveillance and education activities are reimbursed under state aid for general public health work.
