|Minimum Qualifications||Seven (7) years professional experience in Information Technology which included at least five (5) years professional experience in the development and implementation of Internet/Intranet Websites in a large scale IT organizations.|

|Responsibilities||The incumbent of this position will serve as Webmaster and will work under the general direction of the Manager of Technical Architecture or other higher level information technology staff. As the Webmaster, the incumbent will be responsible for the design and operation of the NY-HX website. The Webmaster maintains an inventory and controls versioning of web content via the use of content management software. The Webmaster troubleshoots issues, including content version problems, links, order flows, and registrations. If problems arise with the site, the Webmaster will make corrections directly or coordinate the task to other members of the Information Technology Officer, e.g., database administration, or technical support staff. The Webmaster evaluates the website's efficacy by reviewing and analyzing transaction logs and operating statistics. The Webmaster is also responsible for planning for future changes to the website. Specific duties include but are not limited to: Defines the scope and timeframe for website project completion for subordinate staff. Monitors the progress of website project work plans and may recommend whether or not to continue with a project. Assigns and reassigns staff as needed to address website project workload. Monitors and facilitates the coordination of work between two or more project teams assigned to website development that may be the result of the same legislation, that may address similar user needs, and that may require coordination at the time of testing and implementation, etc. Assists subordinate staff in technical problem resolution as necessary. Develops timeframes around critical dates to ensure timely completion of website projects. Identifies and resolves technical or scheduling problems connected with projects. Writes progress reports to Information Technology and Customer management to describe what was done, what needs to be done and timeframes for accomplishing tasks. After website project completion, meets with Customers to ensure websites meet their requirements, and that proper documentation has been provided. Participates in the development and review of website standards, policies and procedures. Participates in the preparation and evaluation of RFP's. Performs the full range of supervisory duties.|
