New York State's Training in Soil Vapor Intrusion
In July 2005, the New York State Department of Health and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation provided training on soil vapor intrusion evaluation in New York State. The key objectives of the training were to provide a fundamental understanding of the process of soil vapor intrusion and the State's approach to evaluating soil vapor intrusion at sites in New York. The training was based on the New York State Department of Health's Guidance for Evaluating Soil Vapor Intrusion in the State of New York (February 2005 Draft) and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation's proposed vapor intrusion policy.
