Single Source Procurement: Development, Printing, Scoring and Distribution of Results of the State's EMS Certification Examinations
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.
The New York State Department of Health has made a determination to issue a Single Source Procurement to temporarily extend contract C022571 with Professional Medical Services for the development, printing, scoring and distribution of results of the State's EMS certification examinations.
Professional Medical Services was awarded contract C022571 as a result of the competitive procurement process. This is a three-month extension of the contract under the same terms, conditions, and pricing authorized under the existing contract. The single source extension period will allow for the continuation of critical services pending outcome of a new competitive procurement that is currently being conducted to obtain these services.
