Single Source Procurement: Provide Recommendations for Policy Changes Related to Long Term Care
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.
The New York State Department of Health has made a determination to issue a Single Source contract to The Long Term Care Community Coalition (LTCCC), C024974, to provide recommendations for policy changes related to long term care. A competitive procurement was not feasible due to LTCCC's unique role in the State, bringing together consumer, community, and professional organizations and individuals from across New York whose collective mission is to protect and improve the quality of life and quality of care for people who use and/or reside in nursing homes and other types of long-term care facilities.
