Stakeholder Outreach

In the course of developing the State's plan for implementing the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program, NY Medicaid met with numerous associations, groups, and coalitions in order to educate them on the program and solicit feedback on how the State should structure the program. Each organization was given an initial briefing on the basics of the program and the progress the State had made up to that point in planning; the organization then had the opportunity to provide formal feedback in a subsequent meeting and/or provide a written response. This feedback was then incorporated wherever possible in the final design of the State's plan for implementing the program.
