New Hotline Number Available
Albany, September 28, 1999 – Due to the volume of calls, New York State has arranged for an additional toll free hotline number to address questions from members of the public about West Nile–like virus and/or to forward reports of dead birds.
The new number is 1–800–458–1158.
Please note: As of June 1, 2002 dead birds should be reported to USDA's Wildlife Services Toll Free Hotline 1–866–537–BIRD.
