State Health Department to Release Prostate Cancer Maps

Albany, NY, November 19, 2001 – The latest in a series of cancer maps depicting the incidence of cancer by ZIP Code across New York will be released tomorrow, November 20. State Health Commissioner Antonia C. Novello, M.D., M.P.H., Dr.P.H. will hold a news conference at 11:00 a.m. at the New York State Museum in Albany to unveil the prostate cancer maps and explain their significance as part of Governor George Pataki's Cancer Surveillance Improvement Initiative.
