Second Video Released in Connection with Health Commissioner's "Just the Facts Tour"
ALBANY, N.Y. (March 5, 2009) – Prominent public health and health care leaders in New York State express support for Governor David A. Paterson's proposed health care reforms in a new YouTube video released today by State Health Commissioner Richard F. Daines, M.D.

The video is the second released by Commissioner Daines in connection with a statewide "Just the Facts Tour" launched this week to bring the facts about Governor Paterson's health care proposals to the people of New York. The facts debunk the misleading messages and scare tactics of TV commercials paid for by hospital lobbyists.
Meeting with community leaders in Syracuse today, Dr. Daines said, "What the hospital associations' ads are not telling New Yorkers is that by reforming our health care system, not only will New Yorkers continue to get health care for medical emergencies and serious problems at our fine New York hospitals, but they will also get greater access to the primary and preventive care that will help them stay healthy."
Dr. Daines continues his "Just the Facts Tour" on Thursday in Buffalo, where he will meet with community leaders to discuss the Governor's health care proposals.
The first "Just the Facts" YouTube video was posted on Tuesday.
