Media Advisory: State Health Commissioner to Hold Lake Placid H1N1 Preparedness Town Hall Meeting to Inform Public on Plans to Combat Expected Return of H1N1
ALBANY, N.Y. (September 4, 2009) - On Tuesday, September 8, State Health Commissioner Richard F. Daines, M.D., will be joined by state officials from the State Education Department (SED) and the State Emergency Management Office (SEMO) at a Town Hall Meeting in Lake Placid in Essex County to brief local officials and the public on preparations for the expected resurgence of novel H1N1 flu. Governor David A. Paterson kicked off the six-stop "Novel H1N1 Preparedness Town Hall Tour" at the first forum held in Albany on August 31.
