Media Advisory: State Health Commissioner to Visit Seneca, Yates, Schuyler Counties on Wednesday to Highlight Local Public Health Activities During National Public Health Week
ALBANY, N.Y. (April 6, 2010) – As part of his 15-county National Public Health Week tour, State Health Commissioner Richard F. Daines, M.D., will participate in local public health activities in Seneca, Yates and Schuyler counties on Wednesday, April 7.
Waterloo, Seneca County
8:30 a.m – ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND RENEWABLE ENERGY
Commissioner Daines will tour the Seneca Meadows Landfill and Seneca Energy operations and observe operations to convert landfill gas into renewable energy. Joined by Seneca Meadows Landfill Site Manager Don Gentilcore.
