State Department of Health to Extend Public Comment Period for Draft Revisions to New York City's 2007 Filtration Avoidance Determination (FAD) to November 15, 2013

ALBANY, N.Y. (October 4, 2013) – - In response to requests from stakeholders, the New York State Department of Health (DOH) is extending the public comment period for the draft revisions to New York City's 2007 Filtration Avoidance Determination (FAD). DOH along with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), and the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), have agreed to extend the comment period an additional thirty (30) days to November 15, 2013 to provide additional time for the public and other interested parties to complete their review.
