Tips for Safe Motorcycle Riding
- Be sure you are properly licensed.

- Wear brightly colored clothing.
- Wear a reflective jacket or vest.
- Wear a white motorcycle helmet.
- Maintain the most visible lane position.
- Use reflective decals on your motorcycle and motorcycle helmet.
- Use hand signals.
- Use auxiliary driving lights or headlight modulators.
- Ride with the assumption that other motorists do not see you.
- Avoid blind spots of other vehicles, especially commercial trucks.
- Ride for conditions.
- Ride at a safe speed.
- Avoid riding on wet roads, especially right after it starts to rain.
