Shirley VanZetta

Shirley VanZetta received her nursing diploma 60 years ago. In 1955 received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) and in 1964 her Masters of Public Health (MPH). Ms. VanZetta has worked in public health in various counties across New York State, and came to be the Director of Nursing at Orange County in 1969. She supervises all the clinical services in the 40 year old Certified Home Health Agency, Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program and five clinical sites. She plays a key role in the county's communicable disease management. Her energy, involvement, kindness and character are impressive, and her clinical experience informs decision making on a daily basis.
