Robert Delagi has worked as an EMS professional for over 30 years, demonstrating exemplary leadership in various roles. He serves as Emergency Medical Services and Public Health Emergency Preparedness Director and Strategic National Stockpile Coordinator within the Suffolk County Department of Health Services. He exhibits professionalism and organizational excellence as he represents the county at local, county, regional, state and federal Councils and Committees.

Safety and concern for both the County residents and County emergency responders are Mr. Delagi’s first priorities. Mr. Delagi goes above and beyond the call of duty, as evidenced by the numerous service awards he has received. Always ready to aid the County’s residents, Mr. Delagi is often called into action unexpectedly both at work and as a volunteer with his local fire department. Having experience as a student of the profession, researcher, author, presenter, administrator, and provider, Mr. Delagi has the ability to succeed at every challenge he takes on.
