Ms. Janet Fritz began her public health career as a Maternal Child Health Nurse and Child Find Nurse. Later, she became a Communicable Disease Nurse. During the June 2006 flood Ms. Fritz reported to the Emergency Operations Center where she managed the communicable diseases reports, and went out to offer assistance in the local shelters. During the Pertussis Outbreak, she headed the investigation that reduced the spread of the disease. Ms. Fritz is currently the Assistant Director of Public Health. She demonstrates sensitivity for the diverse values and cultures within her small rural community. She remains dedicated and strives to prevent disease and promote good health to all county residents.
