Mr. Stephen Jennings earned a Masters of Science in Health Services Administration, and has expertise in planning, health initiative design, grant writing, contract analysis, project administration, program evaluation, social marketing, health status assessment, financial review and personnel management.
The creation of chronic disease prevention grant proposals, building work plans and implementing projects are Mr. Jennings' strengths. The multitude of health promotion initiatives in the county are testimony to his work. The development of required data collection and analysis has led to appropriate community health assessments, identification of needs and implementation of necessary programs and services.
Mr. Jennings is active on a number of committees within the department including integrated county planning, quality improvement and preparedness. He is also a member of the NYS Public Health Council and both the American and NYS Public Health Associations.
