2006 Team Nutrition Grant
Description
This two-year grant will enhance the Eat Well Play Hard in Child Care Settings curriculum to include 10 staff lessons on healthy menus, meal preparations and creating a positive meal time environment in child care setting.
Reach
This grant will provide six on-site training sessions to food service, meal service and administrative staff at 20 low-income child care centers.
Evaluation
Success will be measured by collecting data on the center menu, meal service and mealtime environment before and after the intervention.
Trainings to begin in June 2007.
