Codes and Values:- "M" = Male
"F" = Female

- There are multiple relationship edits between Patient Sex and sex-specific diagnosis and procedure codes as defined by the ICD-9-CM reference file edit flags.
Conversion Notes:
Master File - The DDA Sex field was used. DDA sex codes '1' and '2' were
converted to 'M' and 'F' respectively.
