Definition:
The following block of data represents the codes and associated dates defining a significant non-acute care event relating to this discharge. Currently, Leave of Absence and Alternate Level of Care are the events collected by SPARCS. If more than three such events were reported for a patient stay, overflow records were used to record this data. See Record Sequence Number (Data Element 8), Record Sequence Count (Data Element 9) and Appendix ZZ - Multiple Record Discharges.
