The following block of data represents accommodation information required by SPARCS that was reported on the bill. These codes were entered in chronological sequence with common accommodation codes grouped where possible.
If more than five UB-92 Accommodation Codes were reported for a patient stay, overflow records were used to record this data. See Record Sequence Number (Data Element 8), Sequence Count (Data Elements 9) and Appendix ZZ - Multiple Record Discharges.
It is necessary to report at least one UB-92 Accommodation or one Ancillary with each claim.
