Codes and Values:
- Use the following race codes when reporting in Version 4050R DMG segment:
- R1 = American Indian
- R2 = Asian
- R3 = Black or African American
- R4 = Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander
- R5 = White
- R9 = Other Race

- Use the following race codes when reporting in Version 4010AI NTE segment:
- 01 = White
- 02 = Black or African American
- 03 = Native American or Alaskan Native
- 04 = Asian
- 05 = Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander
