Definition:

The patient systolic blood pressure in mmHg taken at first patient contact after arrival at this hospital for patients with a Principal/Primary Diagnosis of Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) 410.0x - 410.9x.

Codes and Values:

  1. Must be greater than or equal to zero.

  2. Undocumented in Medical Chart = 888

  3. Unknown = 999 (To be used only in circumstances where patient cannot have reading taken at time of arrival.)
