Dear Administrator,
The 2% supplemental payment ($140 million) to all nursing facilities was included in SPA 20-0072.
Each State Fiscal Year a reconciliation of any estimated Medicaid days to actual Medicaid days is conducted. Any resulting payment adjustment will be made within the 2-year claiming rule.
The processing for the 2% supplemental payment will take effect in cycle 2362, with a check release date of 12/14/2022.
