Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Sponsored Registries

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) currently sponsor two registries that have declared readiness for Meaningful Use.

The NHSN AUR registry works with Eligible Hospitals and Critical Access Hospitals across the United States to collect AUR data from inpatient facilities. Beginning January 2017, Active engagement with the registry may be counted towards Meaningful Use Stage 3.

The steps a facility should follow to participate with the registry for MU can be found in the NHSN MU3 Facility–level Guidance Document.
