Director of Administrative Services

Job Description

This administrative position involves responsibility for:

  • Supervises and coordinates the fiscal and operating affairs of the Department of Health
  • Conducts and implements internal administrative studies
  • Recommends policies and procedures in the administrative services area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or possession of an appropriate equivalency diploma recognized by the NYS Department of Education

AND EITHER:

  1. Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered college or university with a Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field AND two (2) years of full-time, paid experience in a management level position including at least one year in a public agency, with experience in management information systems.

    OR:
  2. Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field AND four (4) years of full-time, paid experience as indicated in (1) above.
