Lee Houston

Lee Houston's dedication to public health is demonstrated by her strong leadership qualities, self-motivation and commitment to professional growth. As a Public Health Sanitarian, Lee oversees four demanding programs, including the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Lead Hazard Control Grant. This $3 million program, aimed at removing lead hazards in housing units in the city of Rochester, is consistently awarded an excellent rating by federal evaluators for meeting and exceeding program benchmarks. Lee's efforts, and those of her team members, make more affordable, lead- safe housing available to a low- income, underserved population in the community.
