Mary Beth Hogan has been selected as an honoree for the Public Health Honor Roll for her exemplary work in public health service. She has worked as a Public Health Nurse in various programs, became an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant and, since 1999, has been the Coordinator for the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) supplemental nutrition program in Cayuga County.

Under Ms. Hogan's leadership, the WIC program has attained its highest level of participation, and her staff truly understands the value in the service they provide by assisting their participants in attaining other appropriate services.

In addition to Ms. Hogan's leadership qualities, her enthusiastic participation in other community programs and positive collaboration with community agencies and services truly enhance the benefits provided to the county's WIC participants. She is an excellent Public Health employee and encompasses what makes Public Health work.
