Kerry Miller, RN, BA, Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Greene County Public Health

Kerry Miller

  • 6 years of service

Kerry Miller, R.N. has been at Greene County Public Health Nursing Service since July 2004. Kerry started in the Diagnostic and Treatment Center, and on September 2006 moved into a position as Bio Terrorism Coordinator and is now the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator.

Recently our agency was short staffed on nurses because of our budget cuts and Kerry made home care and D&TC visits. Kerry is especially proficient in the well child clinics and rabies prevention, but pitches in whenever needed.

Kerry presented many Pandemic Road Shows throughout the county with the Director of Public Health. She lead the H1N1 Response Team outbreak and vaccination campaign and aided in the county wide state of emergency at our Emergency Operations Center during the flooding incident and the snow storm of this year.

Kerry has an exceptional personality, and always has a smile for everyone.
