Lisa Worden, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Oneida County Health Department

  • 16 years of service

Lisa Worden, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for Oneida County, is an exceptional public health employee. She has led many successful emergency preparedness events and projects and demonstrated leadership through skilled facilitation and collaboration with both internal and external partners. Her attention to detail, personal drive and recognition of the critical role preparedness plays in the department and the community, motivates her to achieve outstanding results. Despite the many demands of her job, she finds time to teach, guide and mentor others. She has played a major role in the completion of Oneida County Community Health Assessments (CHA) over the past ten years. A skilled self-taught trainer and mentor she continues to guide others in the Department through the CHA process. She would easily succeed in other work settings, but it is the human aspects of public health work that keep her here.
