For 23 years, Lisa Chester, MPA, Director, CWSN/EIP has dedicated herself to the communities of Niagara County; most notably, to children with special needs and their families. Her spirit of helpfulness and love of working in teams is evidenced by her contributions to many products and programs of excellence. On projects and initiatives, Ms. Chester has taken a leadership role and effected changes in policies, initiation of new policies and program development in the following: 1) NYSAC CWSN Standing Committee, 2) the EI Fiscal Work group, 3) the WNY Developmental Disabilities Advisory Committee, 4) the NYS EI Fiscal Agent Steering Committee and 5) the Birth through 8 Advisory Committee. Her appointment by Governor Cuomo to the NYS EI Coordinating Council enables her to develop policies/procedures on behalf of local health departments. Her efforts ensure best practices are designed to assist all stakeholders invest in our future; the children we serve.
