Christopher Ryan, MD, is the Medical Director of the Broome County Health Department. Dr. Ryan has served in this position since 2009. In addition to providing clinical oversight of the department, Dr. Ryan has taken an active role in research and administrative leadership. Dr. Ryan has been critical to the success of the Communicable Diseases Control and Emergency Preparedness Programs. Dr. Ryan also serves as a colleague and mentor to the entire Broome County Health Department staff. Dr. Ryan has continually devoted his time and efforts to the advancement of public health within Broome County.
