Stacey Jarosz, Public Health Aide, Albany County Department of Health

As a Public Health Aide at Albany County Department of Health for over 26 years, Stacey Jarosz has provided health support services to hundreds of individuals and families in need. She began her career working tirelessly with high risk individuals within the maternal and child health population with a focus on improving birth outcomes. For the last several years, Stacey has brought her skills and knowledge of the community to the Communicable Disease office where she conducts home visits, provides education, and assists clients in linking to needed services. She works closely with the refugee and immigrant population on preventing the spread of Tuberculosis. She is extremely compassionate, respectful and sensitive to the many cultures that make up our community. Stacey always represents the interest of her clients and has served as a bridge between the community and the healthcare system.
