Oswego County Hospice offers a comprehensive program of home care for terminally ill persons who are no longer receiving aggressive or curative medical care. The hospice program is comprised of dedicated interdisciplinary team members, including Registered Nurses, Medical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Nurses, Nursing Aides, Volunteers, and other supporting staff. The team provides comprehensive supportive services to patients and their families at the end of life and throughout the grieving process. The team members are committed to promoting the highest quality of living for each family, according to their personal beliefs and choices. This commitment has become a core value of the team. Despite many staff and leadership changes in recent years, the Oswego County Hospice program has been consistently ranked high by both patients' and their families' in satisfaction surveys conducted by a third-party agency.
