  • 7 Years of Service

Jody was a Clerk in the food protection program while holding eligible qualifications for a Sanitarian position. She was hired as a Sanitarian in 2015 and quickly learned a variety of programs. She displays an ability to easily adjust from one program to another and help operators gain compliance. Jody is now a level 1 food inspector who conducts food inspections in all types of facilities and responds to complaints, including illness allegations. Jody completes her work on time and is always willing to take on additional responsibilities. During the summers of 2017 and 2018 Jody trained several new staff in the Children's Camp Program. Jody's personal experience as a lifeguard and swimming instructor, combined with her calming personality, has provided her with a keen ability to interact with camp directors and aquatics staff, and to hold productive discussions about the implementation of the camp safety plans.
