Mr. Matthias Schleifer began his Environmental Health career with the department immediately following his graduation from Pennsylvania State University. First as Assistant Commissioner and then Director of Environmental Health Mr. Schleifer has shared his experience and expertise to ensure the health of the community. He is admired for his reliability, attention to detail and sense of humor.
