Birth defects data are available for download in comma-separated values (CSV) format.

Data include

• Total live births: The number of children born by County or region in three year periods
• Total number of children with birth defects: The combined number of children born with at least one of 49 birth defects by County and region in three year periods
• Total prevalence per 10,000 live births: Calculated rate (Total number of children with birth defects divided by Total live births multiplied by 10,000)
• Columns for individual birth defects: Individual counts of children with each of the 49 birth defects by County or region in three year periods.
