SUBJECT: Financial Management of the CACFP
The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is distributing, "Financial Management of the CACFP" which has been recently updated by United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). This replaces USDA's financial management instructions to CACFP Sponsoring Organizations, dated 6/94.
The "Financial Management of the CACFP," establishes program standards, principles, and guidelines for the use and management of CACFP payments. In particular, this document describes in detail allowable and non-allowable costs.
