Steve Chaffee has continued and advanced environmental health projects and efforts in many programs in Allegany County. Steve is best known for his work in the private sewage disposal program, lead risk assessments, food service inspections, children's camp inspections, swimming pool inspections, rabies investigations, and his continuing efforts in the water program. Steve has contributed to each of these programs in a positive way and continues to advocate for residents of Allegany County.
