Gregory Gill has been an integral part of Erie County’s COVID-19 response since its earliest days, managing the day-to-day operations and personnel in a situation that shifted with each passing week. In this role Greg has drawn on the knowledge of a career spent serving the community as a firefighter, EMT, paramedic, and dispatcher. Most notably, he is sharing his expertise with new generations of first responders as an instructor in the field of emergency services. He also shares his time and talents with a wide range of professional and community organizations. Greg leads with an eye toward continuous improvement, making sure his team has the resources they need to provide high-quality and timely services. He is adept at identifying and addressing challenges, always working toward the best possible outcomes for public health and safety. Erie County is a healthier, safer community because of his service and leadership.
