Single Source Procurement: Childhood Lead Poisoning Technical Assistance & Training Provider

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health Bureau of Community Environmental Health & Food Protection has made a determination to issue a Single Source Procurement to one vendor to support ongoing currently funded projects.

The National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH) will continue to provide programmatic support, technical assistance, and consultation services to the New York State Department of Health and local health department partners for the continuation of the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Technical Assistance and Training Provider contract.

Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
