Single Source Procurement: Laboratory Information Management System

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health Wadsworth Center has made a determination to issue a Single Source Procurement to one eligible vendor to support ongoing currently funded projects.

The New York State Office of the State Comptroller’s Bureau of Contracts on May 31, 2023 approved a request for exemption from giving notice in the New York State Contract Reporter for software and server maintenance from Natus Medical Incorporated.

Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
