Single Source Procurement: Radiology Management Services / Division of Medical and Dental Directors
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law §163.10(b), the New York State Department of Health (DOH) is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.
This single source amendment seeks to provide additional funding to maintain current cost avoidance and reduced radiation exposure due to an increase in radiology procedures being performed. As the original contract was competitively procured and does not expire until March 14, 2024, it would not be feasible to contract with another vendor for these services.
