Single Source Procurement: Health Equity Capacity Assessment and Trainings
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Office of the State Comptroller’s Bureau of Contracts on 4/11/2023 approved a request for exemption from giving notice in the New York State Contract Reporter for a contract with Advancing Health Equity, LLC to conduct health equity capacity assessment and trainings. Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
Advancing Health Equity, LLC will conduct a health equity capacity assessment of the NYSDOH and conduct health equity trainings for the department’s employees.
