Single Source Procurement: Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program has made a determination to issue a Single Source Procurement to one eligible grantee to support ongoing currently funded projects.
The New York State Department of Health intends to contract with Mount St. Mary’s Hospital of Niagara Falls for the purposes of creation of an Emergency Department on the Lockport Hospital campus for the term 2/24/2020 - 4/30/2025. A competitive procurement for this service was not feasible due to geographic population needs and licensure requirements.
