Single Source Procurement: Refugee Health/Epidemiology Program

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health made a determination to issue supplemental funds for Local Health Departments. This was done due to an increase in need with Ukrainian Refugees.

Tuberculosis funding is provided to the local health departments whose counties have the most refugees and TB screenings based on lab data and refugee assessments. This funding has been allocated proportionally to all contracted health departments.
