Single Source Procurement: Medicaid Data Warehouse – Contract Extension
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.
The Office of Health Insurance Programs, Division of Systems, has made a determination to extend contract C024937 with Currier, McCabe and Associates, Inc. dba CMA Consulting Services on a single source basis, with additional cost, to Operate and Maintain (O&M) and Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI) of the Medicaid Data Warehouse (MDW). The extension will prevent a gap in service while the Department completes strategic planning, procures support resources, and executes a future competitive procurement.
