Single Source Procurement: Digital Temperature Monitoring Devices (Data Loggers), No-Cost Time Extension

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), the New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, material, and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The Bureau of Immunization Vaccine Program will extend contract C032315 with MicroDAQ.com LTD at no additional cost. The extension will support the continued purchase of digital data loggers for vaccine temperature monitoring for Vaccines for Children (VFC) providers and for transport of COVID-19 vaccine. Bureau of Immunization staff redeployment to COVID-19 response activities led to a lack of staff resources to develop and issue a new procurement and award a new contract prior to the current contract end date.
