Single Source Procurement: Housing Payment Services for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Nursing Home Transition and Diversion Waiver (NHTD) Participants
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health (DOH) is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Office of the State Comptroller’s Bureau of Contracts on 03/12/2024 approved a request for exemption from giving notice in the New York State Contract Reporter for Housing Payment Services for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Nursing Home Transition and Diversion Waiver (NHTD) Participants in NYS. The New York State Department of Health, Office of Health Insurance Programs made a determination to issue a Single Source Procurement to support this amendment to contract C034109 to extend the existing contract 6 months to 06/30/2024 and add $10,922,000 in additional funding to support the TBI and NHTD housing subsidies that assist New York State residents in securing affordable, safe and secure housing.
